well if your a woman go buy some prenatal vitamins they will do wonders for your nails, skin etc......use lotion on your hands every time after you wash them and start eating better, more vegetables, healthier proteins and healthy fats
if you ever get the urge to start biting again just whip out a nail file and scrape it under your nails from one end to the other, this helps the urge to bite them and helps in them growing..never ever file near the roots of your nails..which is the the end of your nail closest to your skin where hangnails can occur

Healing starts from the inside and works it's way out.

Liquid vitamins are the best (only from a health-food store, tho!). There are also natural products you can take or use that will help your nails get into shape!

Congrats on quitting the nail biting!

Biotin, and prenatal vitamins will help nails, hair and skin grow. Use moisturizers often. If you just leave your body to heal on its own, it will, so good job on quitting!
