I saw it on Friday, it was terrible. I went with two friends who'd never seen it, and they didn't like it either. They said it felt like it skipped a lot, felt rushed. I've read the book, it skipped so much and changed a lot, it was pretty dissapointing. Saphira's design was pretty good, and the battle scene was good, but overall it was bad, I'd give it a D+.

Eragon was a good movie. It obviously wasn't the best though. It was fun to watch and get into though. I read the book a few years back and I really liked the book. Warning: the movie is not like the book. A lot of things have changed, but the movie still is good.

I haven't yet read the books, but my friend did and she was SO mad when she saw the movie. For me, some parts were hard to understand because they rushed through most of the plot, left a lot out. The elves and dwarves looked like humans, the dragon grew up in one short scene (I hear it didn't happen instantly in the book)
As someone that didn't know the plot going into it, I have to say it was VERY poorly made. Nothing was explained and none of the characters ever felt "real". It's not a movie I would pay to see a second time.

Well the book is totally awesome, but you know that. The movie is only good if you don't compare it to the book, there are so many plot changes and character drops it's ridiculous. But it still is a very good movie and totally worth seeing! I've already seen it twice! But don't expect the movie to be the same as the book.
~I LOVE THAT BOOK!

Do you mean Eragon in The Lord of the Rings? Great films, all three. Watch!

It's not like the book so don't compare the two. The movie is decent to good. Worth a matinee.

The movie was terrible compared to the book...the movie missed out major details that are in the book, like the Twins, Murtagh's death....... (I could go on and on listing the errors but I won't)

um, since the book was lame and completely ripped off lord of the rings, and the dialogue was corny, and he can't write, I would think the movie has to be a LITTLE better...but you never know...
