how long after you had a child did you concieve again? im not sure if i am but my son is 6 months i stopped breastfeeding him 3 months ago. ive had more discharge nauseated, back aches bloating, fever change, tired all the time. i havent got my period since i delivered. any advice would be great. oh and the first time i was pregnant i took 8 home tests and 4 urine tests they all came out negative and i was actually 21/2 akmost 3 months pregnant

You absolutely could be - you never know exactly when you'll begin ovulating again after delivery. Breastfeeding obviously prolongs it, but if you never got your period back, it's certainly a possibility that you conceived without knowing you were ovulating again. Have you taken a home pregnancy test? If you get a negative again, with all your symptoms, I would definitely consult your doctor. S/he will probably order a blood test to confirm one way or the other.

I think if I were you, i'd take a test for sure. I know that tests can give a false negative, but if they're used correctly, you should get a correct result.

My sister conceived 2 months after her first son was born... 11 months after the first one, another one was born :)
