I have just come off the oral contraceptive pill and would like to conceive a baby boy 3 months from now.?

Currently on daily folic acid, but not too sure what to do about optimmising chances for conception of a boy. any suggestions?

there is nothing you can do to make sure you have a boy--it does just depend on which sperm reaches the egg faster-- also it is said that the girl sperm swims faster than the boy, so chances are slim--but still 50/50

One thing I heard is for a boy to have an orgasm and for a girl not to have an orgasm....so, have an orgasm. I am not sure if this works or not but I found a website with some information. Keep taking the folic acid! And, I don't think your being picky...every one generally would perfer one gender over the other...but I think in the end it won't matter as long as you get a healthy baby. Good luck!

There's tons of wive's tales, but nothing will guarantee you a boy. Your chances are 50/50 depending on which sperm reaches the egg first.
And don't set your heart on the 3 months from now thing either. Pregnancy has a record of showing up when you're not ready, and rarely when you actually want it to.

Good Luck with that...you really can't say that you will concieve in 3 months ans what sex the baby will be. I would hope for a healthy baby and actually getting pregnant. Why not ask for a designer baby while you are at it.

would you like your baby boy to have brown wavy hair and blue eyes?? Sounds like you are being too picky!! you should just ask for a healthy baby, don't attach a sex you might be disappointed. Glad to hear you are taking flic acid, your a good mom already!!

Eat salty foods and red meats.

Have sex the day of ovulation.

If you're really scientific try buying a chemistry kit and a mini turkey baster....maybe like a medicine dropper. Boy sperm swim faster. Suck up the fastest ones and put them inside you the day you ovulate.

have u checked out the chineese calender...it was write with both of my boys! Also i hear doing it doggy style is supposed to help in getting a boy....or search around t he internet...I found a site about gender selection
