It has been found that some people from around the Luxor and Aswan regions do appear have similar genes to the Pharaohs.
These tests have been done recently ,using skin, fingernail and blood samples.Because of the extreme changes in the bodies cellular structure during the process of mummification these tests can not be used to prove that this is absolutely so.
But they do show very little or no genetic relationship to Roman,Greek or Arabic people.
The bone density and body structure, are very similar to Skeletons of the era.The cranial and facial reconstruction has shown an astounding likeness of the 18th -20th Dynasty Royal families to the atypical type of people who come from these areas today.
Another factor is the narrow pelvis in females, this is completely different to the typical Arabic or Greek female pelvis although a large number of Roman ladies of high birth had this type of pelvic shape. However the Roman invasion was many hundreds of years after the 20th Dynasty. This narrow pelvis could have been responsible for the high number of deaths at birth during those time. some of the skeletons of females show they had not yet completed their full growth before giving birth.
However, it must be remembered that the relationship and genetic connection of the Pharonic line had vitually no continued links other than the 18th to early 19th Dynasty Thutmosids, and much later, Ptolomies, who were of mixed Egyptian and Greek (Macandonian)heritage.
Some families from these areas have been resident there for as long as family records and traditions can show us. It is these groups the D.N.A. samples have been taken from.

Actually yes.
Even when the Greeks came, the bloodline still continued up until now. Even though the Arabs and other races came to Egypt. I suppose almost all of the Egyptians in Egypt are really connected to the Pharaohs of Egypt. That's so cool!!! =3 Hahaha..

I guess Egyptians would be really proud to know that they are descendants from the mighty Pharaohs. To think that you're walking on the same sand and land that was once seen and walked on by the Pharaohs and the Ancient Egyptians... That would simply be breath-taking!!!

sure, contained in the experience that Pharaohs were historic Egyptians a useless ringer for his or her topics. it truly is real that Egypt become conquered by way of Alexander the finished and governed after his lack of life by way of his widespread Ptolemy, sponsored by way of a garrison of Macedonians. in spite of the undeniable fact that the small type of Macedonians might want to have vanished like a drop in an ocean. further Egypt grew to grow to be a Roman province, yet there won't be able to were adequate Romans to flood the position. the city of Rome on the time of Augustus and Cleopatra VII become in consumer-friendly words 500,000 human beings, and they had to deliver human beings to an excellent type of alternative places around the Mediterranean. The Arabs invaded Egypt about 650 or so, yet Arabia has continuously been fairly populated, and they had to spare Arabians to triumph over the middle East, North Africa, and Spain (by way of 711) besides. So an excellent type of the human beings who stay in Egypt at present are on the concern of and descended from historic Egyptians, with somewhat admixture of a nil.5-dozen different peoples.

Yes except for the people who came when Egypt was invaded there are descendants of the pharaohs in Egypt.
Remember the pharoahs were still in existence up till the Greek Empire. That was a long time for them to be ruling from the beginning of time.

Egyptians are proud people they probably think it's cool to be a part of ancient history.

Egypt now is not the pharaos Egypt, obviously poeple are not the same as well,
the most of egyptian now are arab, but anyway, how can somebody know his real real origine? i'm always wondering if we are really arab or not, yes we speak arabic, but who are really our grandfathers? what is our race?
anyway, what is the importance of this, we just have to live the present, and to be proud of what we are, and of what what was the poeple who left before us in the same region, if they are not our grandfathers, they must be someone close grandfathers, and finaly, we have allllll the same grandfather!!!
so we are all a family!
