Example, A man has a hobby e.g. Pinball machines, Juke Box, bandits, the lady in their life says " you cant have that !"

I think that is SO selfish. What do you think, from male and female perspective and why?

If money is not an issue, then I do agree that it's selfish. You should be allowed to have things that you enjoy, even if to other people they are just silly hobbies. However, if the hobby is something dangerous, like say a motorcycle or something that is very time consuming, then those would be other reasons to say no. But a pinball machine? There should be no reason why you couldn't have that.

This isn't true of EVERY hobby. It depends purely on your personal circumstances. For example, you mentioned pinball machines. It depends whether you have the money to buy one, and if you do, do you have children or elderly neighbours you might wake up playing it?

My bf is very into shooting and shotguns. I told him he can't have another shotgun because we can't afford it, but I also told him he's welcome to go shooting when he likes and he can buy cartridge displays. He's more than happy with that compromise.

depends on a situation... if a person is hard up in life then its necessary... but i think its down to annoyance... i wouldnt want a guy to have something if it detracts away attention from me or consumes a large amount of his life... if its just a collectors thing then yea a woman is selfish by just flat out saying no

1) Women do not always say 'No'
2) If they wish to do so, that is their right as much as the man's right to want it!
