I am very excited to visit Egypt this March, please tell me which cities I should definitely visit (i am going for 13 days), what's good to eat, shop (to bring back home), which hotel you can recommend, I also want to go to Jerusalem, should I fly from Cairo to Jerusalem (is there other way to go?), is it a long distance? Do many people speak Spanish there, will I be able to find a tour guide who speaks spanish?
I am waiting for my Egipto book from amazon, it's in Spanish so it wasn't available right away... 4-6 weeks seems a long time, mean time I will keep posting questions here! Thanks for all of your ideas!

There's so many places to go Cairo, the desert oasis, Luxor, Hurghada, Dahab, Sharm el Sheik, Abu Simbel. Check out my sisters web site threewebe.typepad.com. She has a movie from one of the times we went to Egypt. You can view it from google video when you access it.

Go to Cairo and Alexandria you can get there by train a little over 3 hours, Stay overnight in the Hilton Green Plaza. They have a wonderful setting and also great shopping. Buy some jewelry while in Egypt it is my favorite thing.
in Cairo go to the Pyramids, Cairo Tower, and some of the ancient areas. I haven't met anyone there that speaks spanish yet.
Egyptian people are very nice and love hospitality. When you make a friend it will be a friend for life.
I plan to travel there 3 times a year.
But I prefer to live in their houses, eat at their table, and help those around me.
I hope that you get to see both sides of Egypt.
The average income can be as low as $1,500 a year or even lower. But it is stated that there are 200,000 millionaires in Cairo.

Thare are loads of things to do in Egypt, it depends on whether u like to spend the time by th beach or go see historical stuff.

You should definitely visit Cairo for 2 -3 days to see the pyramids, egyptian museum and Khan Khalili (old Cairo bazaars).. u can also go to Luxor and Aswan to see all the pharaonic monuments there, maybe through a nile cruise if u want. This will take average 4-5 days. In march the weather will be ok, so u can go by the beach either in Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh, they are beautiful cities and have excellent beaches by the red sea, and u can make desert safaris and all sorts of things. If you are a scuba diving fan I suggest u spend few days in Marsa Alam, it's the best diving place in Egypt.

Email me if u need any other info!

You'll be so excited in Egypt. We Egyptians welcome you in Egypt. Now about the places, I can't number them on my hand, you must go to an information center in Egypt; ask for a tour guide, you'll find many. I personally advise you to go to these cities:Sharm El-Sheikh, Alexandria, Cairo, luxor and many other wonderful cities. You can visit the Pyramids, Sphinx in Giza...Valley of the kings...The Egyptian Museum and other wonderful places. By the way, take money as much as u can, you'll want to do, buy, ride, climb, even dive many times. Have fun ! Any more information, just mail me...bye
