I use Almay cleansing wipes with no rinsing and i was wondering if this actually is healthy for my skin or is washing with a cleanser better?

In my opinion, washing with a cleanser is ALOT better for your skin. The wipes can and will only take off so much. I use makeup remover, wash my face with a cleanser, and then use a toner. The toner (with no alcohol) takes off stuff that even a good cleanser won't! If you aren't as prone to breakouts, you could probably skip the toner. Just try to wash your face instead and don't completely depend on the wipes to get the job done =)

If you don't have issues with breakouts then go for it but I do both. I have a 2 year old so there are baby wipes everywhere then after that I use a good cleanser and moisturizer. Take care of your face you only get one.....plus plastic surgery is expensive LOL

Washing it with a cleanser is better if you're trying to avoid break outs but it shouldn't be bad for you unless it contains alcohol or something. If so, I would use something less potent and more moisturizing around your eyes to reduce the effects of aging that are eventually going to show. I would say though, if you're happy with what it's doing and your skin isn't show any signs of damage (flaking, redness, breakouts, etc), keep doing it.

just using wipes cannot compare with using cleanser AND water. i used to use wipes but i always felt like something was left behind.

If you do decide to use a regular cleanser and water, a great one is one called Deep cleansing oil by DHC. It's similar to the Shu Uemura cleansing oil but i find that DHC still works better at removing makeup and grime.

Baby oil works well to take a lot of makeup off and its good for your skin. I just remove my makeup with the oil then wash my face with a cleanser.

don't waste your money on the cosmetic company wipes. i use huggies diaper wipes and it works very well. i use it to remove make up and them wash with a gentle cleanser. this is the best way to get skin clean.

I like the MAC wipes. They work wonders but feel pretty harsh on your skin.

I like to wash and then use the makeup wipes to pick up any excess "gunk" I may have missed.

The wipes are about $25.00 for a pack of $200.00 (I think).

I use vaseline, it works wonders on eye makeup!!! I then wash the rest of my face with a mild cleanser usually in the shower because the warm (not hot) mist opens your pores.

well they are good for taking make up off but it doesn't take away all the other gunk that your skin has on it. you should wash your face afterwards. I would, after all don't those wipes leave you greasy feeling?
