I would like to keep it secret until second trimester, 12 weeks or so. Will it be possible? With my frist one I didn't show until about 5 1/2 months. I am average weight but waist and tummy are small.

Becca girl, you should be just fine. The uterus doesn't get above the pelvic bone region until after that point. You might have some boating there, but nothing that would really give it away.
Up until the second trimester, your doctor had to lift your uterus up internally in order to even feel the height of your fundus, so not to worry. Baby won't be poochin out for awhile yet.
(((hugs)))

Second Pregnancy Showing

Women are different with each pregnancy, but for me, I actually started showing more quickly with my second then I did with my first. The reason behind this is because I have already stretched those muscles out before. I was like you and didn't start showing with my first until I was around 5 months or so, but with this one, I was showing by 3 months. If you'e trying to suprise someone, the best thing to do is wear loser fitting clothes. It's about the only way to hide it, and if they ask, just say you've gained a little weight or your stomach hurts from the clothes you've been wearing. I think you should be able to get away with it for the most part. Good Luck hun and congrats!

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm 14 weeks right now and I started showing after 5 months with my first. I've always had a small frame, so any change in my tummy size is very noticeable but my clothes seem to be shrinking on me allot faster with this pregnancy. But you should be able to keep it hush until 12 weeks, because although my bellies gotten a bit bigger it hasn't popped as yet.

Well, I didn't "show" until after about 14 weeks, but by 9 weeks not a single pair of pants (that buttoned anyways) fit me. But no one would have thought I was pregnant, maybe just gained a little weight. It also depends how close your kids are together. My daughter was only 9.5 months old when I got pregnant the second time, if they are farther apart, it will probably be easier. Good Luck!

I gave birth to three children, now ages 3-9. I never gained more than 20 lbs. with each pregnancy. I didn't really "show" with more than a bloated belly until I was about 5-6 months. A little earlier with my son though.

You will show sooner than with your first pregnancy. With my second I began to really show at about 18-20 weeks. You should be able to keep your secret until at least 12 weeks (most likely more if you want). Good Luck.

I started to show around my 3 1/2 - 4th month mark. I told my boss I was pregnant early, since I had a good amount of morning sickness...

Seriously, I am all tummy... no other weight gain anywhere.
