If you have orders for a permanent change of duty station, and you have to turn copies of the orders into the management office of an apt complex to break a lease, what does management do with those orders? Are they just kept in a file? Or do they have to turn them in to someone else?

Military orders automatically release you from your leasing obligations, don't let the manager bully you into paying more then your 30 days notice.

I am currentley in Property Management in Ft Hood, Texas and we get a copy to keep in the tenants file, that way there is record of the reason they broke the lease, and no one can say otherwise, because in our lease we have the Military Clause and as long as you give a copy of your orders you can break the lease.

I imagine they put them into their file to document the reason for allowing you out of the lease. Who would they give them to? Unless there is some personal or privelaged information on them that you do not want out in public, I wouldn't worry too much about it - especially if you are dealing with a professional management company.

before everything this is in simple terms to interrupt a hire once you get carry of orders to circulate removed from that section. this would't be performed to circulate to a distinctive house or on base ( i attempted IT). Secondly I certainly have under no circumstances heard of them protecting a duplicate yet like all and sundry has mentioned, black out the staff suggestion. stable success.

I would just keep them on file, or simply return them. When I was apartment managing, all I needed to know was that a unit was going to go vacant, so plans could be made to re-rent it.
