I liked Volume 2 more than Volume 1. The blood was a bit excessive, but the entire story is a homage to the old 70's kung fu movies. I like to think of them as the 70's meets the 21st century. The movies represent the genre of the 70's, while at the same time, putting in effects that are used today. It's a nice blend.

Dont know if you mean kill bill 1 or 2.
both films i found very good but on the violent side.you would not want to be too squeemish to watch them as there is a lot of gore involved.i thought uma thurman in particular was very good.
if you liked it i would suggest you have a look at pulp fiction.
gerry.

Great Movie! If you didn't like it, you probably didn't like Pulp Fiction either. Sometimes a movie needs to watched with the pre-knowledge that it's on a comic book level. First time I saw Blade I thought it was dumb, but then when I realized it was based on a comic, it became a much more watchable flick for me.

I really liked it, though I would have edited differently. I would have had the Bride fight Oren Ishii towards the end rather then at the beginning. I would have told the back stories behind the other assassins.

I loved the first one, not so much the second one. It is an artfully directed movie, the fight scenes are visual masterpieces and of course the anime sequence in the first one was also wonderful

I thought they were great! As with Kung Fu Hustle, you have to just go with it. The over the top, cartoonish like violence seemed all the more of a reminder it's just a movie. It's just a movie just a movie

The violence in the movie was necessary to the line of work each character was in. They were all assassins.
The amount of violence used was to show the amount of anger and revenge that one very pissed off left for dead, betrayed, mother less assassin could inflict one those who betrayed her.
Both movies were great if you can understand the violence and pay no attention to the gore of it.

volume 2 is a plenty greater beneficial action picture, whether the two are favorites of mine. EDIT: the human beings that did no longer like 2 via fact it become "uninteresting" are morons. lots of the human beings who say that have the strategies of a small toddler.
