I have and orange molly fish. She has been laying on the botom of my tank, and she moves every so often. Is she dying ? Is she full from eating? Or is she sleeping? Please help !

How long has she been doing this? Molly fish sometimes go to the bottom of the tank to have their babies; it takes an hour or two for the process to be complete. Give her a couple hours and see how she is then.

If she has been doing this for a while, she may be sick. Do a large 40% water change, and add some aquarium salt (if you don't already) about 1 rounded tbsp / gallon to the water, and make sure the water is warm enough (78-79F).

If you think she is bloated or constipated, offer a few small pieces of shelled pea.

Edit: in regards to what Woody said - yeah, you have to be careful when doing water changes. You must use dchlor and the water temp must be the same. Ideally, though, you are doing 25-30% water changes every week, anyway, and the fish get used to it. Mine don't even notice the gravel vac anymore and instead try to eat the particles that they sucked up. I always suggest a large water changes when a fish is ill because it is usually something in the water making it is. As always, be careful, if your fish looks like a huge water change would push him over the edge, do a small water change every other day for a few days. Water changes really shouldn't have a bad rap, because they are essential to keeping a healthy tank. Even if your tank is fully cycled and ammonia and nitrites are being broken down, nitrates still add up and they don't go anywhere. They are not as toxic as ammonia and nitrites are, but they ARE toxic, and you need to remove them as they build up. Bla bla bla, I know ;) Hope your fish is feeling better!

You should buy a water testing kit. There could be a lot of reasons why your fish is doing that, could be the ammonia, nitrites, etc. Also, try changing 25% of the water.

Could she be pregnant? If so it may be time for her to have her babys.

If its not that check your water, if you do not have a test kit take a sample of your water to a fish store. This is usually free.

You could do a 25 % water change to see if it purks her up.

you have to be care full about doing a large water change, if you don't do a regular water change this will also shock your fish and can also kill them, this is how water changes get a bad rap. but everything else that Zoe had said is true.
