Did anyone see the game Friday, January 5th? This is the second loss to the Mavs this year. Considering that the Mavs put the Spurs out of the playoffs last year, what do the Spurs need to change in order to win?

I saw the game, and the announcers were talking about how quick the Mavericks were. If you remember in the playoffs last year, Coach Popovich made a smaller starting lineup to adjust to the Mavs' quick guys. They need to find guys who can run up the court like the Mavericks in order to beat them. They have one more game against the Mavs (I'll be there by the way), so at least there's a chance for a season split.

The Spurs aren't as young as they used to be and the bench is not as deep as Dallas's.
The Spurs need some new young talent coming off the bench that can contribute more.

they play som sloppy defense
and i am a L.A. fan but not the lakers
the clippers
so this makes me likes the spurs

Play consistent defense and get someone to replace Bruce Bowen. He's a half step slower this year. Not just defensively but offensively.
