If you are on the inside of the car, it is simply called the floor. If you are a mechanic you would call it the floorboard.

Most newer cars are built with a structure called a unibody. This is like an exoskelliton and the structural parts of the car are actually molded into the body. Trucks and some sports cars have a frame, also called a chassis (rhymes with classy). The chassis is usually made of steel. In some high end sports cars it is made from aluminum.

The subframe is a part of the chassis on some older cars (70's and older) that unbolts from the rest of the frame. The subframe holds the engine and front suspension.

Undercarriage is also a good word for the bottom of the car.
