Sounds like an intermittent drip just behind the wall. This wall is an outside wall. There is no water visible anywhere or anything out of the ordinary at all.

There is a leak somewhere the sooner you find it the better off you are, there may be a bad pipe in the wall. Water damage is not a pretty site. It will rot all wood surfaces, normally you don't realize it until the board gives way. Do you own the property or do you rent? If you rent notify your landlord as soon as possible. You may have a bad peat trap that could be leaking in the wall or floor. The sooner you find it the better off everyone will be.

Probably a leak in the wall . Eliminate possibility of drip from outside drip edge under shingle. Notice time of day. Tell landlord or call a professional. DO NOT WAIT!!!!!! It could burst or could already have rot and termites.

call a plumber now. The longer you wait the more effective it is going to value to fix. If this leak will grow to be a busted water line your wall will be sprayed with water till someone turns the water off to the homestead. imagine the wear and tear and tear think ofyou've got even as that occurs.
