The waist sizes for men's & women's jeans are pretty much the same. The difference is in the hips. Most women's jeans are wider in the hip than men's jeans. Women generally have wider hips because they are the ones who have children.

Generally, a woman wearing a man's jean will find that she has to size up in the waist in order to get the right fit in the hip area. The waist will be a bit loose & she may need a belt.

Yeah, it's generally 2 sizes smaller. So you would probably be about a size 5 men's, but there can be a number of factors influencing that. Looking at unisex shoes sized in men's, like Converse? Or are you just curious?

36 - womens 14
34 - womens 12
32 - womens 10

Waist on womens jeans is measured higher than on men. On a woman, man's waist fall 2-4 inches below natural waist.

if you are trying jeans, you need to just see what fits your body best.
