jlalibra you are over reacting, saying white people can't act like black people is just as racist as saying black people can't act like white people. and don't give me that oppression BS cause none of my ancestors owned slaves so that doesn't fly with me .

Of course! If I were to be around you in public and you see some of your White friends do things that Black people would do or say things that Black people say and you say something like "Dude, go over there with your Black @$$!" and you guys are laughing, I would DEFINITELY take that $hit offensively IMMEDIATELY! Why? For two reasons: No. 2: it makes me think that you, in some form or fashion, you don't like Black people; AND, last, but for DAMN SURE not least, No.1: I AM AFRICAN-AMERICAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To the asker of this question: I DID NOT say that it isn't okay for White people to act Black! Hell, I have a close friend who IS White and DOES many things that many of us Black people do! I just SIMPLY said that if I saw you hanging out with one of your White friends who is sort of like my close White friend and you say something like "Dude, go over there with your Black @$$!" and you guys were laughing, I WOULD get offended because I would MOST LIKELY see you with your White friends more than your Black friends and assume that you DON'T like Black people and that you're a racist! That's all I said!!! So don't come at me with YOUR B.S.!!!!!

It doesn't offend me, but I'm pretty apathetic. I just think it's very silly. It does not so much tiptoe upon the line between silliness and stupidity as pole-vault across it.
