I had terrible problems with the week before my period, I also have poly cystic ovarian syndrome. I opted to have a mirena coil inserted which contains in-utero progestins - a form of progesterone the stays within the womb and this virtually stopped my periods and no PMT!!!!!

Hello, not sure how old you are,but i a 31 and had a terrible time with pmt over the years ,it was hell,
so i went on different pills ,oral pills (pills you take by mouth)they seemed to effect me worse emotional ,
a friend of mine suggested to on the pill injection ,they gave it to you in any family planning ,it is an injection every 3 months ,you don`t get your period at all ,
so no chance of having babies and no pmt because you dont have a period
i was on it for 4 years and it was like i had turned in to a brand new person ,to be honest it can effect people in different ways ,but all my friends that went on had the same effect as me ,brilliant ,
i am now older and came off it recently as if you want kids you need to come off it 2 years in advance so you can have kids and get body back from not having periods .
i basic can say that when i went on it ,it saved my relation ship and santity ,
the main reason i went off it was after 4 yrs i felt i had lost my sex drive just towards the end of the 4 yrs ,plus i want to have children in the next 3 years ,
so we are just using condoms ,but the amazing thing is a have been off it 8 months now and periods are nothing like they used to be i used to get them for 8 days ,heavy ,now only 3 days !
i used to have pmt the week before a period ,the week during period and the week after ,it was hell !!
Now i don`t get pmt at all ,so i would sugest you get the pill injection ,or even ask family planning about it ,it was a miracle for me ,the main reason you should stay away from other oral pils is because i tried them all ,about 7 different ones and i swear it was like pmt but worse ,in an emotional way !!!
i hope you look into ,as i have to it saved me ,in alot of ways and even now my periods or nothing like they used to be !!!
Good luck and it is worth having a look !!!
Most family planning clinics are very helpful ,and if you tell the what i told you they will have heard about all the stuff i have told you !!
Good luck,be prepared to have a happy ,chilled out time and more friends !!!they will have heard about it and there is only one ,just call it the pill injection !!

Evening Primrose oil is supposed to be beneficial. Go along to your local health food store and ask for advice, i use natural remedies for lots of stuff and they can work just as well as conventional meds. Good luck x
