Having scored 16 goals in about 18 games in Scotland he is a great newcomer, but unfortunately a Sunderland strikers tend not to play well in the goalscoring account, so we will have to wait and see on that one, but he has got raw talent and the knack of scoring and at only £2m, well worth the risk.

well there is that element of risk every time you sign a young player. he scored 14 in 16 (with three consecutive hat-tricks) which is a cracking ratio and i reckon that the quality of the SPL is similar to the Championship so he should do well. £2m might be a bit too much but he is a young lad and could repay that for SUnderland very quickly!

never mind about stokes. i think roy keanes most astute bit of busisness will be the loan signing of jonny evans. i watched him make his international debut for northern ireland at left back against spain and he didnt look out of place on the international scene even though he is a right footed centre half. very good bit of work by sunderland to pick him up.

He looks like he could be worth it. But still the 2mil for a player who could'nt get into the Gunners first team is rough.

i believe its 2 consecutive hat tricks!
but yh, i do hope he succeeds. good for SAFC. and good for Keano.
what do SAFC fans think of Keano?
