I'd call it an 'open relationship'. There are a number of people in relationships (even marriages) that agree to allow each other to have sex with other partners. Some want them to come back home and tell them all the details and others just never want to know about it when it happens.

In your situation, if they are both aware of it and accept it, are you at all concerned that they want to have a threesome between the three of you?

I'm in the same boat as you except i'm the girlfriend and she loves another man. We tried a threesome but i found it difficult to be with a man. I love her not him. If everyone is excepting of the relationship then no it isnt cheating. But be careful, if your gf and bf dont love each other then you may have to choose in the end. jealousy will be a major factor in their love for you.

If the Other person involved in the relationship knows and does not take issue that is what's known as an open relationship and therefore is not cheating.

Nope. It's only cheating if you have to lie about it. Cheat in actuality means to deceive. And you aren't deceiving anyone if you're honest about it. What you have is called an open relationship.

Absolutely not.
Cheating, by definition, means that one person in the equation is being left out or misinformed.
If they are informed and approve, there can be no cheating involved.
Simple.

no, you can't cheat if the other person knows about it. Whether or not it's bad for the relationship or good for the relationship is up to the people involved.
So other people shouldn't make judgements based on ignorance (which is what I see here in the posts above.)

I don't think so. If they both know then you aren't hiding a thing. But, be prepared to except it if one of them has a b/f g/f. Cheating is being dishonest, and you aren't they know.
