I'm using the top burners. I couldn't find any toggle switches that might have turned the gas off below (It's not getting gas) It appears to have just stopped working suddenly. There was no gas coming through to light the pilot light below. I believe the stove is about 8-9 years old. Any ideas?

More than ligely if the range is 8 to 9 yrs old it probably has an eletronic ignition, or an hot surface ignitor for the oven .If it has a hot surface ignitor(glowbar) then it is probably weak or not working at all either of these situations will prevent the flow of gas to your oven as a safety pecaution so you don,t get a build up of gas without a source to light it. If it is the old pilot style range you may have a defective safety valve in your oven or even a dirty pilot. Have checked by a qualified gas man.

Do you have a pilot light? Sounds like you have a elect sparker and it is bad. If it doesn't work it will not let the gas to flow to oven. (Safety)

Turn the clock back to manual, may have been turned to auto whilst cleaning.

We come across it quite often.
