Hi does anyone know a good web site where i can get a list of veg and the details of how to grow them and when as in time of year.

I have a basic grasp of gardening but could do with this info for a veg garden.

Cheers.

You don't say which part of the country you are in, so the logical thing would be to go on line to the Thompson & Morgan website and order a veg' catalogue. You will find all the information you need in there. Alternatively, why not go to your local library and borrow some books on the subject.

Give this a try. Order seed catalogues from the major suppliers- Thompson&Morgan and Dobies are excellent, they give a surprising amount of information about growing fruit and veg from seed or plug plants. They are beautifully illustrated in full colour so you can see what you are getting. Also the pix are a great incentive and encouragement during the Winter months to start planting in the Spring.

Try visiting your local garden centre; they'll gladly advise you of types of veg to grow suited to your soil type. And home grown veg taste soooo good.

Go to the Old Farmers Almanac for a list of regions and planting guides.
