yes, our first cable box remote was attached to the TV and you could only pull it like 10 feet from the TV. We only had HBO after 4pm during the week. Those were the days :)

MTV was great, HBO was great. Now it all sucks! Re-runs, etc. Hardly worth the money & the old shows have gotta go, I'm sick of seeing The Deep, & shows of that caliber (JAWS), paid infomercials. MTV is now rap central. On & on. TV SUCKS!

Sure do...I was about 13...everything was free and I even took a peak at playboy. Mtv was an awsome show. It was cool not having to subscribe to this or that...like that is all what cable is about today.

"We interrupt this software for an substantial .... " i became a young person interior the 1960's. i became expected to be in mattress until now television shows went off the air. whilst my older sister babysat, I have been given to not sleep overdue and watch the Steve Allen teach (a communique teach) along with her. yeah, I keep in mind the bomb drills interior the hallway. fat lot of sturdy the "crouch" might have carried out us. i don't keep in mind something with regards to the Bay of Pigs until after the fiasco. It became over until now it began, and became a humiliation to the U.S. The Cuban Missile disaster had, luckily, no pressing information. besides the undeniable fact that it became coated on a daily basis interior the television newscasts and our newspaper. because of the fact that we lived in Baltimore, an commercial hub and interior of variety of missiles from Cuba, it became an extremely annoying time.
