Can anyone please help? I have managed to actually set up the wireless network in my flat and it is working perfectly. However, I have been looking at the instruction manual and it may as well be written in Martian for all I understood. I have tried looking on the internet for sites that will tell me exactly how to configure the security settings on my wifi but all of them are full of these acronyms which just confuses me. Is there any information out there which will give me a complete step by step guide to making sure no-one else can access my network? Something that is written in plain English for thickos like me, the best answer will receive my eternal gratitude a lifetime of self satisfaction knowing they have aided someone less fortunate.

Your manufacturer should have an IP address for the network taht you can type into the internet url address. This will allow you to set up your security settings. Once you get the IP address it is pretty straight forward.
