We’re having problems with pedestrians walking on major streets (with vehicles) because of snowstorms. Just seeing if anyone had words of wisdom - I’m imagining ppl from the Chicago area have solutions.

If the sidewalk is covered in 2 feet of snow, then the edge of the road is probably deeper from plowing. You still need to walk above the sidewalk. I suggest a pair of cross country skis and a beany hat with a puffy ball on a string.

On the sidewalks on top of the two feet of snow. What does your question have to do with the subject matter here, cars and transportation?

on the right side of the snow bank, that is why they make boots.... in the traffic lanes, you are just lookn to get hit by an out of control vehicle
