People say this mixture causes a harmful gas, but it cleans so well and it smells sooo good!!

Not a good idea, the gases, could be deadly. you should use one or the other. And stop smelling it!

NO, never ever mix bleach with any other cleaner including pinesol and especially ammonia. Even if you use bleach in one part of the house and pinesol in another part of the house, and you walk from one room to another you have fumes in your system, the 2 will mix and create a chloride gas and if it doesnt kill you it will mimic a heart attack, it robs the oxygen out of your system. A father in Iowa recently died from mixing bleach with a drain cleaner, also sent the paramedics and his family to the hospital as well. When cleaning with only one of these chemicals, be sure to work in a well ventilated area.

Bleach, when mixed with certain cleaners can cause dangerous fumes, however, I clean my bathroom floors with a bucket of hot water, some pinesol and a little bit of bleach, and I have never had any problems.

I don't know what kind of floor you have...but too much bleach can ruin many types of floors(when used too often). Just use the pinesol if that is what you like.

You could use this mixture, but I woulnt' recomend it. Use only pinesol. if you really want it clean, use a broom and scrub it first.

friend of mine had breathing problems; consult both bottles for their 1-800 #'s before you put yourself and others at risk.

you never mix clorox with anything not even hot water unless you want to killbrain cells
