A rusty grill with "Food" spraypainted on the side of it.

Black trash bags over the windows.

About a million cats on the deck.

A truck parked on the grass.

Would calling and threatening to evict these people make me the landlord from Hell, or do you think I'm justified in doing so? LOL

I'd see what code is for the city and see if they're violating anything. I would also look at the lease and see if pets are mentioned. If it didn't mention pets, then you have the right to ask they either be paid for (deposit) or removed. Sounds like I'd got with "no pets" after hearing about the rest of the place! I would consult a lawyer, then become the landlord from Hell. It's YOUR property, they're just renting it. I wouldn't want someone there that has no respoect for others' property. Good luck!

I'd hate to be a 'regionalist' but they DO have a southeren accent, right? Somehow that would make, uh, 'sence'!
Get 'em out! They're affecting property values for the owner, neighborhood and community. Let alone being unhealthy!
Would speech therapy help? Naw!

If you pay the bills and own the property? Hell, toss the b*stards out on their dirty ears. Unless, of course, you have a contract. Actually, it might be a good idea to consult a lawyer. Sounds like they are violating codes. Check with the city. Maybe they can cite them and help you out. That way you can blame city government.

Try talking civil to the people telling them they can't keep the property looking like this and give them a certain amount of time to clean it up. I've found in life for the most part that it's how you talk to people how they will react.

I would say that you're justified in evicting them, but it may all depend on the lease. if there isn't anything in lease regarding pets, where vehicles are parked, or window coverings you may not legally have a right here. i know that sounds pretty dumb, but i work in housing and our leases need to have very specific terms to protect us from situation such as these. if there isn't anything specific in the lease, or a lease at all you may want to contact your local health department and see if there are any violations that way.

They are obviously cluless to what society expects so don't think they will understand..Other than the cats not sure you have enough to evict on

Justified go set up a court date now, or you might not have any property left.

They don't own it, yet are acting like they do. I would threaten to evict them if they didn't clean the place up.

I would make sure you have the full story before you do anything harsh like that. There could be a reasonalbe explanation for it.
