Can Dove be a acne cleanser as well?

I asked this question before but i only got 2 answers.Ok i have been using my wifes Dove (white bar soap) to wash my face for the past 2 weeks,and ever since then my face became more soft,clear.and moisturized after.CAn Dove realy help with clearing up acne and stuff?.what do you think?

I agree. I think that many types of soaps meant for the body can be used to cleanse the face. Most soaps that are meant for the body and not the face, tend to dry out the skin though. My cousin used the regular Dove white bar soap for her face (she also had acne) for a few months (2-4 months) and it was working well. After that period, her face started to become excessively dry. She tried to switch moisturizers and the problem didn't go away. She finally switched from using body soap to a mild face cleanser and that fixed the problem. Everyone's skin is different though. By all means, if it works for you, continue using it!

definately. If you have acne prone skin i would suggest using Dove's sensitave skin soap bars or their sensitave skin creame body wash. I've suffered with ance in the past and found that using dove's sensitave skin soap has work the best.

hi...
i am a regular user of dove.it is a wonderful soap.
makes skin real soft and smooth.but if u have oily skin i advise u to use less of dove..it wont help much with acne removal..
try using Benzoyl Peroxide Gel BP (benzac ac 2.5%)..it works wonders on acne...let me kno how it works if u happen to try it..

I used Dove for a couple of months.It made my skin soft and smooth.But didnt clear up acne.It didnt work for me.

i wash my face with hot water at least 3 times a day to get rid of it

prolly!! I just use my shampoo to wash my face, and it's perfectly blemish free. Yeah I use Biolage (salon stuff) but it works great
