real diamonds are made over thousands of years of heat and pressure, man made diamonds are done over a matter of days
to the untrained eye they are both the same, but when put under a fluorescent light the man made diamonds will remain luminous

real diamonds need to breathe so to speak or else they'll turn black. and fake diamonds are just there to fool you and sometimes fakes diamonds are covered up in the back so they cant breathe which hints they arent real.
