This guy told me he was born and raised in CA, and that he lives in FL, but every time he calls me on his cell phone it shows a local CA number. I am trying to figure out if he has a "Black Berry" phone, and lives in FL then what makes a CA number come up when ever he calls me because I think that he actually lives here in CA with me instead of FL.

If he puchased the phone in California he could still have No. from Cal. but live in Florida. To check him out get his Fla. address and send him a letter with return requested if not deliverable

This is done often. My sister moved to Oregon from California and kept her same cell phone number so that we could all call her from our home phones and it would be a local phone call, thereby allowing us to skip the long distance phone call charges. If he has many friends and relatives still in California he may have done it for the same reason. Also some people don't want to go to the hassle of changing their phone number on everything so they keep it.

He could be your neighbor. It all depends on where he purchased his cellular.
