Yes, I feel old (only 26). I've already caught myself using phrases like "those kids" ha ha. But yes, I remember when we had to go to a friends house to get on the Net and then we could only be on there for a little bit because they had to pay an hourly rate!! I was just watching on TV about the old cell phones. The ones that were HUGE and like a big box. I had an old "car" phone thru and old job once, and I had to put the antenna up on the top of the car and it was like in a briefcase looking thing hooked up to a wire, I don't know, but it seems ancient now!! LOL.

(in a hoarse voice) Back in my day, we didn't have all these new-fangled deevices. Why if we wanted to change the channel, we had to get off our butts and walk to the TV and spin the dial! Had a rotary phone, too! If we had to write a paper for school, we had to got to the library and read books! Why, we didn't even get color TV until I was 10! We never would have believed things like DVD, X-Box,Cell Phones, cable TV,and hand held calculaters! A computer in our house woulda took up an entire room! Why you kids got it easy! LOL

It doesn't make me feel old.
However, I do remember being like 18 when I got a cell phone. Now kids have them. That just seems so weird to me! I don't know why a kid needs a cell phone. lol

OK guys when I was a kid not everyone had a TV and if you did your choices were 3 fuzzy black and white channels. All the channels went off the air at ten o'clock at night first they played the national anthem then static till 6 am. Sometimes a thing called a test pattern [ remember those]

I'm 19 but yeah it does get annoying. I was probably the first out of my friends to ever have a computer even if it was very basic but now a days everyone relies on them ... wouldn't it be a shame if the internet wasn't there one day ... awwwww.

No, but I am always intrigued to see how "the olden days" are relative. I can recall my parent's talking about spending Saturday at the films for $.05 and what a treat that was. By then they thought it was extravagance to take us out to pizza every other Friday. (And Pong was the rage! I'm 47, for a few more weeks)

I'm fifty and my son asked me what cell phones were like when I was his age. Are you kidding? I asked my mother a question like that about television when she was a kid. Same deal. I guess kids just figure things have always been like they are now.
