Well I can't answer for all females, I can only answer for myself. I did it because at the time, no noe could tell me anything right or wrong, and because he was going through a very rough time in his own marriage (caught his wife cheating) It does not justify what we did, but I just wanted to answer your question. Now me and him are married.
As for the second part, Yes I would tell My best friend to stop sleeping with a married man, especially if he is continuing having relations with his wife with no plans of getting a divorce. Be forewarned, you can tell her, but that does not mean she will listen, sometimes, people have to learn their lesson the hard way.

Hello Tangerine,
No my dear friend telling her probably will repell her from hearing anything. we humans are a funny lot arent we, we don`t want to be told anything, yet when we meess up we look around and try to find someone to blame for our messup. Love her and at time open the conversation up and let her talk about the issue and the guy. When you feel the timing is right gently let her know there is no hope for a long term relationship, that continuing with him takes her deeper down the dark rabbit hole to a place she will eventually be left all alone. If he is doing this behind his wifes back now if he marries your friend she will one day as well have to deal with his cheating with someone else. It`s a terminal illness you feed the lust and desiree untill it kills you, you see the end coming but fail to turn away from it`s crushing teeth that have been setting up to devour her all along. It will not be easy sweet heart, the voice of experience is speaking to her from me to you to her.
Many hugs to you for being there for her regardless of the out come.
Jim

Because they can. Unfortunately, there are women who prefer married men and vice versa because there is no way that they will have top be committed in that relationship. Both parties have low self-esteem for the man he feels that he needs someone to build up his self-worth and the woman feels that, this is all she is worth to be second to another woman.

Simple,
low self-esteem. They simply want the attention of a man, any man. They lower than standards until they find someone that will make them feel wanted.

Personally I dont, but I guess folks do it b/c there is less commitment involved. She is grown and she knows what she is doing is wrong, so I dont think you should tell her anything

IF SHE'S MARRIED, THEN NO.
BUT IF SHE'S SINGLE, WHY WOULD SHE WANT TO SEE A MARRIED GUY? IT'S NOT GOING TO GO ANYWHERE.....MAKE SURE SHE'S AWARE OF THIS, THEN MAYBE SHE'LL CHANGE HER MIND
