At first when cold it would start up without any problems, but when it warmed up it was hard to start and you could smell excess fuel. Now, all it does is crank and back fires even when cold. I have changed the fuel filter twice, fuel pump, spark plugs, cap and rotor. I have also ran a fuel system cleaner through the system twice.

Check engine timing. With the timing marks lined up, see what cylinder the rotor points at. Either the rotor is improperly installed, the wires into the cap improperly installed, or you have stretched the timing chain.
