If they are only making one or two then have them make heart people. Give them different size hearts, a big one for the body, and 4 small ones for hands and feet. Let them cut them out. Also give them strips of paper and "accordian" them for legs and arms. You can let them either draw on faces or use scrap paper for faces. Fold them in half and let them write or draw on the inside of the card after the glue dries. We did this with one of my advanced Pre-K classes and they had a blast! We also used them to hang from the ceiling to decorate the room.

Mz. Garcia, why don't you have the kids make Valentine Mailboxes to go on their desks with their names on them......Make them outta construction paper and have them decorate them with stuff. This way they can receive Valentines in their mailboxes.

the mailbox thing is an awsome idea! we used to do that when i was in elementary school, and i appsolutly loved doing that.
