If you are using modem to make your connection then just unplug it from the old computer with the other cables with which you used in establishing your initial connection.Plug your new computer to the main socket,power it and insert the CD that came with your modem and follow the on screen instructions.For proper installation do make any connection until you are prompt to do so.Good luck and enjoy your new computer

I had to do this before when my computer was wiped by a virus. But anyway if you had an installation disk simply pop that in your new computer and follow their instructions. Its that easy. Your accounts and settings should be picked up off the server. If you have any trouble just give BT a ring. They are really helpful the number should be in your welcome pack. =) Good luck

Just unplug your cable modem and plug it in your new pc. Follow the instruction on your modem and Win XP will do the rest.
