HOT water mixed with a small amount of dish washing soap or laundry detergent. Sop the area and let it set for a few minutes before dabbing. Might need to repeat. When all the sap is gone, you need to clean the area with plain water to remove all traces of soap, which would attract dirt. Always be sure to use a white rag
