The last question I asked comparing Jordan to Kobe, came under much controversy. As many people think that Jordan is comparable to no-one. As such, I figured I would make a more equal comparison between Kobe and Starks. I can go either way on this one although, I would put the edge to Starks. I mean, I know Kobe scores a lot of points. However, Starks has accomplishments and accolaids which Kobe does not. For example, Starks was considered by the league for two consecutive years to be the "Sixth Man of the Year." Also, Starks never changed his number. In addition, Starks, unlike Kobe has street credit, which of course goes a long way. Most importantly however, and on the heels of the last debate is, Starks would rise to the occasion. For example, Starks dunked over Jordan (a player who is better than Kobe, Lebron and Wade put together). Could you say the same about Kobe? NOPE. No one has Heart Like John Starks. Except of course for King Michael Jordan. Long live the King!!!

Those are 2 of my 3 most hated players ever.... #1 is Isaiah Thomas.

I remember Starks dunk, still shocking.... but I also remember when he played for the Bulls and was equally as bad.

You can't compare a point guard to a shooting guard. Kobe is one of the best scorers in the game. however, I like John Starks more since I am a Knicks as well as the fact that I actually met the guy. Starks is definitely a better person than Kobe. In fact, I think that the Knicks should have hung up #3 to Starks instead of giving it to Marbury. Starks is a much better person than Kobe is a ballplayer. Starks could have won an NBA Championship in 1994 had Olajuwon not have tipped his shot. The Knicks had another shot in 1997, and they could have won had it not have been for the Miami Heat getting into a brawl with the Knicks. So, while Kobe has the most talent, I think that Starks is a better person than him.

Hey T-Rex just to help you out a little bit........John Starks isn't a point guard he is a 2 guard. He was the 2 guard on the Knicks MARK JACKSON was the point guard for NY. That's why you always saw John Starks and MJ going at it in the playoffs.

It's hard to compare a point guard to a shooting guard. The both get key opportunities in different areas.

In this case there's not much to compare. Kobe is the better player.

Unfortunatly I would say Kobe. He is a great player but off the court he's a jerk.

I think it's Kobe.
I just came to wonder, who you'll compare Kobe to next.

It's very obvious you're a Kobe hater.
