Is it ok to let my baby nap on the couch as long as I am sitting next to her. I never leave her side.

I don't see why not. You baby is safe with you sitting there supervising. If she is comfortable let her sleep. Try not to let her get in the habit of sleeping there so you don't have sleep issues with her, but occasionally there's nothing wrong with it. Sometimes the most comfortable sleep is when you just drift off to sleep on the couch in front of the TV, for babies and adults alike.

Yes, just make sure you are there with her, and make sure no blankets or pillows or even the couch get in the way of her breathing.

of course...my chidren never left my side for the 1st 4 months of thier lives...she isnt rolling yet your good to go...just role up a recieving blanket and put it in the crevis of the couch...then she has no chance of an limb or even her or himself slipping in...Good Luck and Crngrats!!!

As long as you never leave her side, there isn't anything wrong with it. You probably prefer to be close to your baby.
