The remaining NFC teams have the following records against the AFC this year:

Bears 2-2
Seahwaks 2-2
Saints 1-3
Eagles 1-3
Combined 6-10
They have not beaten one of the remaining teams in the AFC even once this year.

AFC:
Patriots 4-0
San Diego 4-0
Colts 3-1
Ravens 3-1
Combine 14-2
They are undefeated in the 4 games against the remaining NFC teams

Any questions?

Right now the AFC is so much better than the NFC. However, about 10 years ago the NFC was dominant when the 49ers, cowboys and Packers were continually winngin the Super Bowl.

i think it's just a complete switch in the balance of power of the conferences. the nfc was dominate in the late 80s and most of the 90s up until elway won his superbowls. until then, the nfc won like 13 or 14 straight superbowls. no one in the afc could compete with the likes of the cowboys, niners or packers. now it switched over to the afc with the colts, pats and chargers. in a couple years, the nfc will probably be the stronger conference again....

The whole NFC has been one big clusterf*ck. You can't depend on the "great" teams to win, and the ones who are supposed to lose seem to win those big games. Look at Chicago, number one seed who was beaten by first Miami (who I believe was winless at the time) and then Green Bay in the last week.

Hopefully next season the teams'll get their acts together so we can really watch some entertaining football!

I just think there's more parity in the NFC than the AFC, where there are a few dominant teams and many horrible teams.

That said, AFC teams may be ever so slightly better overall.. but the AFC games are SO boring to watch:
NYJ-37
NE-16

Ind-23
KC-8

B-O-R-I-N-G

Sea-21
Dal-20

Phi-23
NYG-20

E-X-C-I-T-I-N-G

it doesn't matter if nfc or afc are better. what really matter is who will be in the super bowl. that's matter.
