is the 360 better than the ps3?

Technically, they are essentially the same. Graphics will be about the same as well. To me the 360 currently (obviously) has a MUCH better game library. The 360 also has more exclusive games that I'm interested in. The PS3 has maybe 1-2 exclusives tops that I would want to play. If you play console games online though, the 360 is MUCH better. The online is no laggy, has a great interface, provides all kinds of free and pay to download services, and is well established.

The PS3 is a neat console, but for the price and the features, nothing stands out above the 360 in my opinion.

XBOX 360 had glitch problem when it was released. No PS3 bug has been reported yet.

Hardware speaking, PS3 have better feature that XBOX 360 don't have but should have been installed in the first place.

Graphic Speaking, This is a tough questions cuz it depend on games. If the company developed a game for one console, they tend to convert the game code for another console with negative consequence such as slower performance and lower graphic quality.

Yes the Xbox 360 is better than the PlayStation 3. Why? The Xbox 360 has a better engine that is by far smoother and allows you to run games at a faster pace. people who buy ps3 dont really know what there talking about, they either start the argument with...
PS3 is better because it has blue ray..... yeah so, nobody knows which high definition dvd will win the war, why buy into it early?
Oh its got to be better, as it more expensive..... sony are money grabbers that overprice there brand, as they can think they can do this!!!!!!!!
its more powerful..... maybe but that doesnt really produce better grapghics, as the developers have stated that it is easier to produce better visuals on the xbox 360, as it runs smoother.
the onlines free.... yea cause its not policed, and its as laggy as hell. this means prepare for teamkilling and cheaters, that cannot be punished as they can easily move their account. as the xbox live is paid for at least what your getting is quality, and more companys will develop online games, as their is a profit incvolved.
rumours have it that some games developed for the ps3 may not hav the onloine play, as there is no incentive. as its free.
