There are several reasons for frequent urination, below are a few of them.

1) Infection - bladder infections frequent give the urge to urinate frequently

2) Diabetes Mellitus - Increase blood sugar acts as a diuretic, cause frequent urination.

3) Increased water intake - The more you drink the more you pee.

4) Diuretics - Water pills like Lasix (furesemide) or hydrocholorothiazide.

5) Urinary retention - Oddly enough the inability to completely empty one's bladder can cause frequent urination.

6) Diabetes Insipidus - A hormonal problem due to the lack of ADH (anti-diuretic hormone). Rare.

Many of these can be pretty serious. You should seek medical attention soon.

You're body is eliminating excess water and trying to fix itself. When the body want's to flush wast, it does. Some foods or beverages contain tannins that can cause a diaretic effect as well. You could just be really well hydrated.

Be careful that it doesn't continue too much, you could be loosing too many electrolytes and essential salts, and that could be an issue. If it's been going on for a while, get some electrolyte, like pedialite (i'm not sure what brand for adults), in you soon and talk to a doctor.

If this just started or happens to you sometimes, I'd say its something your drinking. If certain people drink stuff like ice tea, coffee, it causes them to urinate more frequently. Perhaps beer because it goes right through some people. You could just have an over active bladder. If your not comfortable I would see a doctor.

You could be pregnant, you could have a urine infection or a weak bladder or you could have been drinking too much white wine.

If it continues a trip to your doctor is in order as you may require antibiotics if it is an infection.

Could be that you are a wee bairn and they pee all the time.

You should really see a dr, that could be bladder infection, kidney infection, diabetes, muscle spasms. Tell them about other things like burning or itching and the length of time that you have been experiencing these symptoms.

you may have a bladder infection or what they call nervous pee. or small bladder .I have that problem when i get nervous i am to the washroom a million times before i leave for my appointment .I would get it checked out as it might be something simple but it could also be signs of other major problems better to be safe then sorry in the long run.

The causes are too multiple to answer correctly: narrowed uretha, bladder infection, kidney infection, kidney stones, STD, diabetes, enlarged prostrate, etc. etc.

Without further information, a proximal answer is impossible.

If it persists, I would suggest seeing a urologist.

For males, it could be an enlarged prostate gland. If you are in your 30's, you should begin having exams in your normal physical to get it checked.
It's not something to mess around with either...I lost my father to prostate cancer.
Usually, it is caught early enough and can be taken care of. I've read that nearly 50% of men have to have their prostate removed in later life.
