First call if PO and see if anything can be done. Then decide what needs to be done. If he's lucky and he hasn't ticked off if PO he might get a break, if not he'll have to do his 30 days and maybe the rest of his time. The longer he waits the worst it'll get, he should have call that day or the next day at the latest.
If it was up to me he do the rest of his time. He was give the privilege of getting out of jail early, he had to follow some rules, but he was able to get on with his life. But he's not following the rules of his probation, so anything that happens is on him and him alone. If he's not man enough to take care of this himself, he's not man enough for you.
Now, I believe in probation, but I also believe that those on probation should follow the rules for that privilege, and if you don't follow the rule you should lose that privilege.
Personally I'd drop the guy like a bad habit.

The best and really only way to go about this is immediately contact the PO after the mistake, and try to reschedule a new appointment. It is a violation of probation, and could result in jail time, however there is a higher chance of lenience if he owns up to the mistake than if he runs from the law. The courts will eventually catch up with him.

He needs to contact the PO as soon as possible. That means like NOW. Honesty is the best policy- if he slept through the appointment, then he needs to tell her/him that. Lying will likely come back and haunt him.
Depending on how he has adhered to the other terms of his probation will greatly influence the officer's actions. He could be held in contempt of court for failing to adhere to the terms of the probation.
Don't let it happen again.

It sounds like the ball has been in his court a few times. He could have shown up, he could turn hinself in. How much of your hopes are pinned to this guy?
If you still want a future with him, 30 days might just be the wake up call that he needs!
Good luck.
PS: How many people are secretly hoping there is nothing he can do but serve out the time?

Nicotine doesn't take position and your P.O. won't be able to do some thing about it if he doesn't locate cigaretts on you or did not see you smoking. If it truly is Pot, it truly is on your device for a lengthy time period. like 30 days. Your crime become save lifting, if it did no longer have some thing to do with drugs then he received't try you till the choose stated to objective you. examine your probation papers and be conscious what they say. If it says no longer some thing about finding out and says no longer some thing about finding out to purchase the finding out then no, they received't try you. it really is right here in California, no longer particular about the position you stay. yet if you are actually not finding out to purchase it, they are not finding out for it....

I agree with the others answers to call the PO and if he/she is pretty laid back he might get another chance if he/she has not reported him yet.
And better for him to turn himself in than to be considered a fugitive.. that would send him to jail for a longer amount of time.
Your boyfriend is an idiot! You should be careful that you do not get stuck in one of his messes and be in trouble with him as an accessory to a crime, harboring a fugitive, or assisting him in eluding law enforcement and having your behind thrown in jail as well.

the best thing to do is call the PO. You do not want to be on the POs bad side. Even if he has to take the 30 days, it's better to be on the up and up than have the PO thinking you're shifty flight risk.

It Sounds to me that you got yourself involved With a Jailbird....Getting him out of Trouble isn't your Responsibility, But then again, Girls tend to Fall for those Types that Needs a Mother Instead of a Girlfriend, WOW!

he is doomed. there is no way to get out of it. you can't rescedule a probation appointment like it's a doctor appointment. there is a real good chance that he has a bench warrant out on him right now as we speak.

Got yourself a really good catch there!!! The looser is going back to the pen....unless he has a documented and legitimate excuse. Even then they can still throw him back in. Be aware they most likely will immediately drug test him.
