i've been dating this guy for a while , the thing is that he has a daughter... i really really like him.... but when he told me about his daughter i was shocked, i mean dont get me wrong theres nothing bad with having a baby i really like him and everything ... but the fact of me meeting his daughter just frightens me .. what should i do ..??

if you want a serious relationship with him, then you will have to meet his daughter eventually, so just go for it....

How long have you been dating? Seems that's something he would have mentioned a bit early on in the relationship. How old is his girl?
I guess you need to ask yourself, for starters, what you think of children. Do you like them? Do you want to maybe have some someday? Or have you even given that any thought? For instance, if your main impression is that they're mostly "cute and fun" rather than "obnoxious" the relationship will probably have a better chance of survival.
If you get past that part, I think if you've been seeing the guy for awhile and you like him you should definitely meet his daughter, especially if you think you're going to stick around with the guy. If not, then there's not much point in letting the girl get to know you.

Get over it and go for it! His daughter is going to be there FOREVER. If you see a future with this guy, then you have to accept the fact that he has a child, move past your inhibitions and MEET HER! I had the same feelings when I met my NOW husbands daughter, I was nervous and felt strange doing it.... and NOW I cant imagine life without her. Good luck
