You can smell perfume because of diffusion of molecules of perfume in air.Since perfume molecules have higher concentration at the source, they tend to move towards lower concentration zones thus occupying the entire room.hence you can smell the perfume from anywhere in the room

perfumes are always very volatile i.e they evaporate easily, this causes the molecles to didperse in the air quickly allowing us to smell the fragrance.
