I not been there in a long time. Billy Bob's at the Stockyards is fun and big. Country Music, which is a biggy in that area. Most of the clubs are great. Many have Happy Hours and even have free snacks. Ladies nights are good for the women as they get drinks free. Be sure to see the zoo, botanical garden and I think it called the water garden. The water garden is where they filmed some scenes from "Logan's Run" it real cool and be sure to walk down inside the water fall where Logan dived in to get back inside the Dome. It a "Hoot"! All the water rushing down around you it a Head Trip, and I mean it, so, be sure you not get dizzy and fall in. Ha! If, you go up toward Azle and Eagle Mountain lake there a park on the Right with Buffalo and Prairie Dogs. On the left a small Wine Vineyard and you get a few freebies to try. Before you get to those not far after you start there a road on the left drive you around Lake Worth. If it still there on 820 loop you cross over Lake Worth to the North-West. Look out toward the Big Airplane plant west of the Bridge, if I remember correct. You will see a Fence in the lake where a B-52 fell into the lake. It nothing great, just interesting. When you on 820 loop North of town, I not remember the Street, dang, It going west and you will see on the right General Dynamics (I hope) and Tarrant County Juinor College, take and second exit and go south into town. About a 1/2 mile on left was a good resturant be sure if you find it to sit in the bar, real nice atmosphere. I think this was the same road take you to Azle and goin South it get you to the Water Garden, just don't hold me to that as it been a long time. Used to be a few places called Buffy's they were good for some Breakfast Omlets.
The link about Billy Bobs and a few things I mentioned, just scroll and read. Have fun, be careful and stay with your friends out running around.
Try to ride the bull at Billy Bobs, yes, it real, Ha!!!

first off...the person who said dfw is way too dangerous for females at night is a retard. indeed, there are parts that you shouldnt be in during the day or night, but there are some really great parts of dfw no matter what time of day.

if it safety you are concerned about, stick around in the fort worth area - sundance square. once i turned 16 (not even 10 years ago) i have been going down to sundance square. my parents always felt comfortable with us going out - even all girls. although i havent lived in fort worth the past few years, when we go visit a few times every year we head to the sundance square. i love the stores down there like earth bones, the little boutiques, and hanging out at barnes and noble. the riata restaurant is very good, razzoos is delicious, and there are many other options too. my dad is a huge fan of the pour house for lunch! at night, the downtown comes alive and has a good mix of all ages. there are plenty of bars/pubs/some clubs, to hit up all within easy walking distance and staying in a good part of town. if you have a car, drive around in the downtown area, stay on camp bowie to head west, or university to go south when you leave the immediate downtown area. the tcu campus area has some good places to eat and if you head all the way down university (south of 30) there is bluebonnet circle with some good eats and stores along the way.

if you have time, hit up some of the great museums and exhibits in the downtown area. they always have something going on!

Sundance Square, right downtown you can't miss it. Lots of restaurants, a few clubs.

Stockyards, a couple miles north of downtown, basically a big tourist trap but if you like cowboy kitsch and overpriced steaks, go check it out.

West of downtown the museum district is cool, and lots of interesting little restaurants along Camp Bowie blvd.

Not much hard core nightlife/clubbing - most of the TCU college kids go to Dallas for the big night out.

it is very dangerous (particularly for females) to go out after dark in the DFW area because of all the illegal aliens in our area...with no accountability in our area their crimes are particularly heinous!
