Some adults enjoy playing videogames even after they have finished college and have full time jobs and familys. Do you think there is an age where adults should stop playing videogames, whether they be online games, or at home on a gaming console ?

Serious answers only, thank you.

No, I think everybody is entitled to play what they feel like, I see 60 year olds playing on PC or PS2 games and the Majority of RS players are Adults

I'm never going to stop playing. I'm 35 and have been been playing since I was a little tyke. I believe that the people who were kids, teens, and young adults around the time when the video game generation was born, (I say around the late 70's) up until now, take more interest in them than those who were older and/or not into new technology. All in all, it really depends on the individual. Despite age, young or older, it mostly depends on the person's personality and environment.

I think the idea is ridiculous..... I am in my late 30's, and I have been playing since they invented pong in the early 70's, and If its up to me, I will play all my life...its recreation, I have a life, I am married, I have 3 kids, 2 in high school getting great grades, I have a good job. I am not an athlete, but I know friends who particpate in sports leagues for older guys...its just not my thing. I love the video games.

I think it's fine, a nice way to just settle down and forget your problems for an hour or two... adults and teenagers have that one thing in common, pressure, so it's one thing they can have in common.

If you think about it, our generation will pobably be those very adults you speak of, the ones who play video games even in old age ^_^

I think there is no age limit when it comes to any game, whether it be sports, boardgames, online pc games or video games on a console. As long as one doesn't let it interfere with their responsibilities, what's the harm?

Nope.. I'm 35 and will play video games until I have a stroke or die, or get my arm amputated, or... whatever.

If you have your priorities straight, 1) Family 2) Video Games
and do a LOT of censoring with your kids (if you have any) then Video Games is a WONDERFUL thing. (I just got a Wii, and I am finding 50+ year olds that want to play it - - bowling, boxing, etc... Maybe its time for the older generations to get involved!)

No, i'm the comparable age as you and that i do this stuff. I even have had 2 people (no longer people fairly) question me why am I observing cartoons for toddlers? i assumed it replaced into extraordinary how they think of that merely because of the fact something is lively potential purely youngsters could desire to visual exhibit unit it. yet I proved certainly one of them incorrect as quickly as I confirmed an animation some years later with some violence (my purpose replaced into particularly to coach the comedy), and my pal replaced into creeped out by potential of the common blood. do no longer pay attention to those people who enable you comprehend to "enhance up" with your like of anime and video games because of the fact it merely shows they do no longer comprehend plenty approximately it different than the undesirable stereotypes. i might merely forget approximately approximately them.

Absolutely not. All of us still have some kid in us and we enjoy the challenges just as much as the younger generation. In fact, I've been pretty successful in beating my kids at some of those games.
