the side nearest the wall ..... in my case the right side

The side closes to the bathroom. I am serious about too. If my boyfriend spends the night or I am alone, I want the side that is the closes to the bathroom. Don't like crawling across anybody to go to the bathroom. This only if the bed is in the corner.

But at the same time, if the room is big enough that I can have both sides of the bed away from the wall, then the left side (when your laying on the bed) is my side.

As far as body wise, I sleep on both sides, but more so on the left side.

I chop and change depending on the bed. With my last parter I always slept closest to the door (apparently some ancient instinct based on sleeping closest to the mouth of the cave to enable me to protect the family) - but now my wife always insists being on the left hand side of the bed, regardless of the room layout.

the left hand side, but only because it is furthest from the door. In a room where the right hand side is furtherst from the door, then I'll sleep on that side! Must be protected from scary monsters!
