Sin City had amazing black and white contract.
Memoirs of a Geisha started out in black and white.
Shindler's List
My favorite B&W movies are Seven Samurai and Roman Holiday.

I can only come up with two: Clerks and Sin City, but that was enhanced, as there was also a lot of red in the film.

Not much in B/W has been released since 1980 (Elephant Man and Raging Bull come to mind, but that did have a color sequence in it)

Yes, it was originally released in black and white. Many old black and whites are re-released in color, especially after the rise of color film in the 60's and 70's. I prefer the old black and white; I think that is how Hitchcock meant for The Birds to be viewed. He was a great film-maker, and I know he took the b&w film in to account aesthetically and atmospherically for his picture.
