I have a 1999 mazda millenia. Recently I started to feel vibrations near the left wheel. Mechanic after diagnosis figured the wheel bearing and hub need to be replaced. He also asked me to go in for a wheel alignment and said the total cost would come upto USD 500. This is in Minneapolis with the zip 55423
Would like to know, is this a fair price or am I getting ripped off.
Also, if I delay the replacement, is there any danger while driving on a freeway.
If anybody knows a cheaper place for getting a mazda repaired in Minneapolis near the zip 55423, would greatly appreciate it.

I work in a shop in Minneapolis. While I'm not at work to throw together a comparitive bid, given labor rates in the area and the fact this is a Millenia (spotty parts availability) this price sounds about spot-on.

Is there a danger to driving on it?

Yes, if its in rough enough shape.

I agree with Pedro but time is more than that.

100 bucks plus parts fair enough.
like Pedro said check prices with auto zone.
