i saw a thing for mystrey shopping on the news paper ..has any one done this ??? and how much money did you make...im just looking for a way to make extra money

My friend signed up to do it. She took a test and got a certificate. When she started looking for places to mystery shop, she couldn't find anything close to home. They told her there were a lot of jobs in her area when she first started up. But, when a job opened, someone else would always get it. She found some jobs over an hour away. For the amount she would get paid, it wouldn't make up for the miles she would have to put on her car. She gave up.

It's a hassle that is not worth much ($7-$9) for legitimate companies. YOU have to pay for the product and then send in receipts to be reimbursed. They usually only have a couple of shops for you to do per week, unless you live in a very large city, then of course they don't reimburse the cost of gas. Really a waste of time for no more than they pay.

do a search. usually you have to sign up with a shopper service and they want $500.
